Our owner and founder Mrs Carole Fielding is very ill and we're all trying to do our bit to make sure the charity not only continues but has a clear path for the long term future
Pablo`s not only does a an awful lot for animals but people also, we've some terrific volunteers (some from Long Clawson) but do need more especially with winter coming upon us. We also have some of the best fundraising events in the form of live music everything from Oompah bands to Ska to Glam Rock.

Vale Barn Owl Conservation Group
Harby, Hose, Long Clawson
The Group was formed in 2008 and provides nest boxes for barn owls in the Melton Borough area from Bottesford in the north to Saxelbye and Grimston near Melton.

An opportunity for two community groups in Leicestershire to receive a £500 start up fund and access to free resources and training through ENABLE, the Leicestershire Environment Partnership........

Old Church rooms

Hello!
Not sure if anyone can help, but I would like some more information on the Church rooms on Church Lane please. We drove past the other day and really fell in love with it and we thought it was such a pity it was being allowed to deteriorate. Does anyone know who currently owns this building? Or where I might discover such information? And if by chance the owner has any wish to sell? If we have any luck my husband and I really look forwards to becoming part of the village!

Please can someone tell me if the cottage called "Thrae" or 1 School Walk is still there, also I believe "Fir cottage,"
Is the village shop still in Hose,?
I used to live there at the cottage 39 years ago,
