Methodism was first introduced into the village in 1797. Methodist preachers were welcomed into the kitchen of a home. The man of the house was not too happy and went to see the vicar of Melton to ask if it was right to hear preachers outside the church............

An informal gathering focussed on questions many may have about the Bible and what it teaches for today.
We welcome questions and contributions on the themes that will be chosen- perhaps by you?

2-00p.m. for 2-15p.m. [formal end 3-15p.m.]
